What do you think happened to Claire?
She abandoned her baby in the woods and they find her in Jacobs Cabin acting all freaky with Dead Christian giving Weird little grins. What do you think happened to Claire? (Result) |

A week ago I totally believed she was dead. Last night I believed it too. I have changed my mind I think.
In the message Hurley gave to Jack from Charlie. He told Jack that he wasn't suppose to be raising Aaron. That is because the Psychic told Claire that he must not be raised by another that he must be raised by her. IF claire were dead what would it really matter. At first I was sure she was dead, the more I think about it, the more I think maybe she isn't dead because of that mostly. |

I think she died at the campfire and went off with Christian and now she is a ghost/manifestation of Smokie or something.

I'm pretty sure she's dead, but there's not really any way to tell for sure right now.
As far as what Hurley told Jack, just because Jack's NOT supposed to raise Aaron, that doesn't mean Claire IS. After all, what do we know about the psychic? More or less nothing. Therefore, it is possible that he was told Claire that because he was working for Ben/Widmore and wanted her on the island. I think this is true because, the more you look at it, the more it seems the island is trying to keep Aaron away from her. |

Well, the island has used special people before...take Locke and Ben who grew up off the island, and NOT being raised by their Mothers.
I kind of wonder if that means anything. |
