I remember all of that stuff ! my grandparents owned a grocery store were you could get candy 2 for a Penny !
Large candy bars for 10 cents 12 Oz. can of soda for 10 cents |

I remember penny candy too. There was a mom and pop store up the street that was owned by a Jewish couple. We used to get a whole bag of candy there for 50 cents. We used to love the guy that owned the place because of the way he counted out the money ( one a penny....two a penny...) and because of his cool tattoo on his arm. We found out later as teens that the cool tattoo was a number he got in the concentration camp......
