I would want to be let go if I was not going to be able to live.I have a living will.
As many of you know. My sister had a heart attack last year. they did a catherazation to see how bad and she had a massive heart attack and was on life support.
I was not just that she was in coma, not breathing or her heart working on her own. Her kidneys finally shut down ( all this in like 36 hours.) I saw the signs of the kidneys sutting down. I knew she was gone by evening.Her husband decided to unplug the machines.The doctors over ruled him.They ran all kinds of test and tried dalias( which caused 3 more cornarys.)Basicly they really uped that medical bill with private nurses and test up the ying yang.Covered their butts in case of a law suit and them agreed to unplug her by lunch the next day.Once off the machines she was gone in seconds.
it was all very emotional. Family fighting, some to take the machines off, some to not.In the end, there was really only one thing to do.Unplug her. If a miricle had happened and she came out of the coma. she would never have been able to even breath on her own.Do anything, her heart was too damaged.
I do wonder if at any level she could hear the circus going on and pray she could not even look down from heaven and see the heartbreak her dying did to her daughter.
That is why I have a living will. I do not want my family to have to make that decision.Doubt their choice or fight about it all.
